In this busy time of year, we can use a little extra self-care. Why not come to IYIP for a break? In this workshop, we will practice a sequence designed to maximize your relaxation response by calming and soothing the nervous system in supported asana poses. Join Christina for a supported and active backbending workshop. Open your heart center for increased lung capacity, more elastic back muscles, and increased flexibility and range of motion in the shoulder girdle. All levels welcome.Register

Our classes have three focus areas:
IYIP classes run in 12-week sessions with a short break between quarters. Most classes build sequentially throughout the quarter, but you are welcome to begin or drop in at any point.
You can pre-register and pay for classes using the MindBody mobile app or pay at class time with cash or check made out to Iyengar Yoga Institute of Pittsburgh (IYIP). No need to call ahead; just come a few minutes early for your first class to meet your teacher and fill out our New Student Registration form.
