Margie’s Third Friday of the Month class will be on Friday, March 15, 2019, 5:30-7:00 pm.  The focus will be on Chest Openers and Pranayama.  Move inward and stoke your vital energy with pranayama teaching from Dr. Geeta Iyengar.

IYIP Classes


Our classes have three focus areas:

Beginner to advanced yoga practice

Yoga therapy and rehabilitation

Stress management

IYIP classes run in 12-week sessions with a short break between quarters. Most classes build sequentially throughout the quarter, but you are welcome to begin or drop in at any point.

Class Descriptions

You can pre-register and pay for classes using the MindBody mobile app or pay at class time with cash or check made out to Iyengar Yoga Institute of Pittsburgh (IYIP). No need to call ahead; just come a few minutes early for your first class to meet your teacher and fill out our New Student Registration form.
