Neck & Shoulder Restoration!

During cold winter months we tense and shrug the shoulders. Join Christina in a sequence designed to relieve upper back, neck and shoulder tension.

Friday February 15 5:30 - 7:00 PM
Working on the "West" Side of the Body

Margie teaches a sequence of postures aimed at discovering the “west” or the “hidden” back side of the body.

You may register for this “one session classunder date and time of class.

Deep Rest & Pranayama

Join Christina to relax and to nourish your mind and your nervous system.


IYIP Classes


Our classes have three focus areas:

Beginner to advanced yoga practice

Yoga therapy and rehabilitation

Stress management

IYIP classes run in 12-week sessions with a short break between quarters. Most classes build sequentially throughout the quarter, but you are welcome to begin or drop in at any point.

Class Descriptions

You can pre-register and pay for classes using the MindBody mobile app or pay at class time with cash or check made out to Iyengar Yoga Institute of Pittsburgh (IYIP). No need to call ahead; just come a few minutes early for your first class to meet your teacher and fill out our New Student Registration form.
